| My first self-cooked entree:
Today I got up on my lazy ass and actually went out and buy groceries, to make a real entree, instead of eating some random things put together. Signifying one of the final steps toward complete independence. This is a chicken pot pie, straight out of Campell's 1-2-3 dinner, highly recommended for all bachelors and/or college dormers. If you're lucky and catches me, you might be able to try out my culinary capability. (it's not THAT bad! just need more practice, i cook a bad ass breakfast!)

| I have not updated in so long that i do not even know where to begin again, but it is nice to be back in the States, re-adjusting my sleep and returning to New York. That time also has concluded and it is once again time for me to depart again; i am glad to see those people that saw me and for those that didn't, maybe next time. Needless to say it was a great two weeks to be back home where everything i knew was. although i am starting to become weary of coming back; knowing that although each time coming back equates to a closer appoarch to permanent return, it also comes with a lesser reason to come back everytime. now that i have some form of college work to worry about, i would be occupied and have even a less of a reason to return. but time will turn out what happens.
the deployment was an experience, its funny what you think about when you are forced to be isolated from everything you used to know for 6 months. shops changed here and there, cant eat or drink in subways, and lets not even mention music or movies. anyways, to summarize it i have seen Spain, Italy, UAE (United Arab Emirates, nobody knows where it is including me), Turkey, and Greece. Europeans drive little cars and they are out there to kill ppl when they drive, umm, the Arabs are just that, UAE is an incredibly rich country; the damn cops use BMWs and Mercedes! Turkey is kind of a backward-ass nation in relative to Europeans, no wonder why they havent taken them into the EU. The Greek alphabet baffled me and there were plenty of Anti-American protest and hate graffiti all over to reminid us who we are. Without further ado, here are the pictures: Spain

 United Arab Emirates

 Turkey

Greece NONE, DUE TO XANGA 10MB Monthly upload limit
This is it for now, i was going to post more pictures during the time i was home too... i'd be back again... | | |
| I know I have not
updated much for the past couple years, it has been mostly uneventful
or I am just extremely lazy; but here are some classics that made it to
the hall of fame and will forever be remembered… HAHA

Most of you probably will miss this text here, but if you make it, thanks for caring to read!!!
Some of you already know that I am going away for a 6 month deployment to the Mediterranean and then the Persian Gulf,
I don’t believe there is really any real danger except for suicide,
just kidding! But this time I have a valid excuse for not updating
Xanga as often as I should. I thank all those who took their time to
come out to see me, or just came out to hang out with me. Thanks to my
brother coming down to visit me in Virginia Beach to give me a head
start on the vacation (as it felt), even though I got 6-7 hours of
sleep in two days time it was all good and still had sufficient energy
to make the 6 hour extraneous drive back up NYC.
Thanks Winson once
again for attempting to plan as much stuff for me as possible during my
2 final weeks home before the 6 month deployment, I thank all who I
have seen or at least made an effort in trying. I have fulfilled for
the most part what I realistically expected and wanted to, I have
accomplish in one week’s time at home more than I have accomplished all
year prior at home, started this Saturday it already felt like
overtime. I have finally reached the day where I need to leave, it is
always hard to depart no matter how many days I have spent home… it is
never enough, but I have my duty to fulfill so I must leave all those I
love behind and serve…
Also thanks to
Wilson Lee (+Jackie) and Ting (+Tracy) for almost always be there every
time I come back, this time is no exception, really would not care to
be home as much if you guys weren't here.
I have done the usual
shooting pool, some drinking, unfortunately I realized that my alcohol
tolerance has been substantially been lowered because I haven’t really
drank all year before that; I suppose in health terms it is a good
thing. I spent a lot of time with my family whom my dad took off 2
weeks just in coordination with me, we went out to Ellis Island,
Liberty Island, Woodbury, Dorney Park,
and a handful of dinners. Had the usual BBQ, unfortunately it rained
and the plan had to be shifted to the house, but it turned out alright
but not as spectacular as it would have been for it had been on the
beach. I hope everyone had a good time there, time flew that day at
unmatched speed. Dorney Park wasn’t too bad either, one part I
remembered is Jenny and Judy screaming at top of their lungs, Jenny
screamed so much that she had to take breath between screamings just to
continue screaming, after which she lost her voice. I met some rather
cool people that day, (as well as some other days), just makes me
wonder why I’ve never even seen them before this, but I will return
soon enough.
Thanks for those who
made it to that little dinner that I had before I leave (You know who
you are), I know it was short notice but I really couldn't have
done better. Spent the last night at Ting and Tracy's to play some
games and BS up till 4 that night, made them stay up... heh!
For all those of you
that cares and made it to the bottom of the reading, I cannot be
reached by phone but however can be reached by E-Mail as it is the only
major available source of communication I have with the rest of the
world from the ship, it is an extremely high morale booster, so if you
spare the time and remember me, shoot me an email; my Hotmail / Verizon
E-mail will most likely be UNAVAILABLE for the duration of the
deployment. But here they are anyway.

| Okay, so i have not made an entry in a long time, not a surprise... to
anyone at all!!! just because nothing too worthwhile has happen in all
those times in between doesn't mean they are all bad time... just
nothing too exciting.
Anyways, this past saturday i had to go out to sea again (very
suprising, huh?), well just for one day we did this for what they call
a family friends day cruise to show everyone how "it is" to be on the
ship. it wasnt exactly like how we have it on the ship, but it was
supposedly fun for them. the food was the best and we all knew it was
the best it will ever get on this ship, they also did an air show in
mid-afternoon and i thought that was about the best of it all... took a
lot of pictures, of course. after that, it was pretty much down hill,
everyone was tired from being awake since 3-4 in the morning, the air
show was over, people could not wait to get off the ship. People lined
up for a whole hour before actually being able to get off the ship just
because they were so anxious and annoyed, hell, they only had to be
there for a day and they had the best food ever and didnt have to work.
Haha, so glad we get to do the things no one else wants to do so the
rest of the country dont have to do it.
Since none of you probably read whats on top of this, and even this
sentence, below are just the pictures, i think u can steal them if u want to.

An F/A 18D prepare to take off from catapult #3, catapults are
extremely powerful steam driven (eating) devices that launches the
plane from 0-120 in split seconds

An F/A 18D just after taking off from Catapult 3

oh my god... its about to land on top of people (actual event: touch and
go excerise) sure looked like it, would have been funny if it actually
did. HAHA

An F-14D streams by overhead while afterburning

An F-14D does a high speed short radius turn, the F-14D is the last
operating F-14 squadron on the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), the
F-14 is a airstrike fighter designed for air superiority and to be soon
replaced by the F/A 18E/F Super Hornets

An F-14D climbs high altitude after passing by the aircraft carrier for a quick back flip manuver

An F-14D reaches sonic boom just right as it passes by the aircraft
carrier at ultra low altitude for the audience by the end of the F-14 Show.
